I use this strategy with my clients and have them eat their greens or vegetables first along with their protein.  

It is a great way to ensure you are getting in your vegetables and it also helps with eating fewer calories.  

This tip can also help with slowing down the rate at which carbs are absorbed which may benefit short and long-term blood sugar control.
